What to do when you run out of Internet?
This happens (surprisingly) quite a bit (and I know it happens to some of my friends too). What do you do when you’ve run out of Internet? I’ve read all my rss (bloglines) feeds, checked in on my fantasy sports teams, browsed flickr (no new pics from friends), browsed upcoming (no new events), scanned del.icio.us (which is one of my feeds), shopped on amazon a bit, read all the news on mlb rumor central, read all my email and I don’t have anything to blog. I think it’s a common problem for internet junkies. I guess at this point you actually go outside and do something in the real world (but I think that’s a cop-out answer!). Please let me know if you have a solution for this problem.

You can find new sites to add to your internet “to-hit” list? But yes, I know what you mean. I hit that wall often as well. Usually when I hit that wall, I just go read a book, watch tv, sleep, or go work out. Another good thing to do is start a conversation with a friend you don’t really keep in touch with. Good for networking and for killing time.

So as I was flickring, blogging, managing domains, building out a site for a friend, playing with iTunes, browsing eBay & Amazon, and reading news (of course all at the same time), it occured to me that ok, maybe I know how to maximize my net experience. But how does someone go from zero to geek like this w/out knowing someone to guide them along. Clearly, without you, Ely, and Josh I’d be way behind. I recently made a site for a friend to host his motorcycle and scuba videos. He doesn’t have time, nor specific knowledge to know how to set up Flickr, Flickr—->Blog, Blog software, etc. So in the model of Appfuse.com, I was thinking it would be cool if there was some kind of incubator site where someone could go to get set up for powerblogging. Step by step guides, lists of accounts and services needed, etc. What do you guys think?
